The Bulk Flotation Cell That Cuts Plant Cell Count is a 160 m³ cell for the largest bulk-ore duties. By concentrating a great deal of flotation volume in a single unit, it lets high-tonnage plants build shorter, simpler banks — less piping, fewer drives and a smaller maintenance footprint overall.
A large rotor circulates the 160 m³ body while externally supplied air is dispersed into fine bubbles for mineral attachment. High per-cell volume means a given tonnage is handled by fewer units.
Building fewer, larger cells reduces the plant's capital and maintenance burden without cutting capacity. This 160 m³ cell is built by Y&X to ISO9001 standards with custom configuration available.
