The Slurry Conditioning Tank for Even Reagent Distribution is a 20 m³ unit built to give reagents uniform contact with the whole pulp volume. Inconsistent reagent mixing is one of the most common causes of fluctuating concentrate grade; this tank addresses that by keeping the entire batch in gentle motion so collectors and frothers reach every particle before the pulp enters the flotation bank.
A geared impeller rotates at 84 r/min, slowly lifting and folding the pulp so that reagent introduced at the feed point is dispersed evenly rather than concentrated near the inlet. Slow, full-volume mixing suits heavy or fast-settling slurries.
Consistent reagent contact is what keeps a flotation plant's grade stable, and this tank is dimensioned to deliver it at a mid-range scale. Supplied by Y&X to ISO9001 standards, it can be built to drawing or sample and integrates with most conditioning lines.
