The flotation machine introduces external air into the pulp while the impeller performs mechanical agitation. The air is dispersed into fine bubbles and mixed with the pulp. Hydrophobic mineral particles attach to the bubbles and rise to the surface to form mineralized froth, which is collected as concentrate. The remaining pulp continues through the flotation circuit.
