The XCF II Forced Air Pneumatic Flotation Machine is a forced-air mechanical agitation flotation machine designed for mineral processing applications.
The machine combines an external air supply with mechanical agitation to provide aeration and slurry agitation during the flotation process. Air is supplied externally and dispersed into the slurry through the agitation system, creating conditions for mineral particles to interact with air bubbles and form mineralized froth.
XCF II is suitable for large and medium-sized mineral processing plants and can be applied to the flotation of non-ferrous metals, ferrous metals and non-metallic minerals.
The XCF II model also has slurry suction capability and can be used together with KYF II flotation machines when required by the flotation circuit.
The XCF II flotation machine operates through the combination of external forced-air supply and mechanical agitation.
During operation, slurry enters the flotation cell and is agitated by the mechanical agitation system. Air supplied from an external source is introduced into the cell and dispersed into the slurry.
The interaction between the slurry, air bubbles and mineral particles creates conditions for flotation. Floatable mineral particles attach to air bubbles and rise toward the surface to form mineralized froth, allowing separation from the remaining slurry.
In addition to forced-air aeration and mechanical agitation, XCF II has slurry suction capability, which allows it to meet flotation circuit requirements where slurry suction is needed.
XCF II and KYF II flotation machines can be used together to form a flotation circuit.
The XCF II machine provides slurry suction at the beginning of the flotation stage, while KYF II machines are used in the following cells.
According to the supplied equipment sample, this combined arrangement allows flotation units to be installed at the same level and enables froth return without the use of a froth pump.
